Our Vision
Our vision is to enhance the lives of women and men inside and out by providing quality hair service in a friendly Christian atmosphere. Our goal is to keep up with the latest trends in the industry with an emphasis on healthy hair. We strive to build the whole person by making them beautiful on the outside while encouraging the inner man. Here at a Touch of Elegance we believe beauty is an inward and outward quality.
A Touch of Elegance was founded in 1995 by Sheila and Elmont Edwards. After twelve years of using her talents in other salons, Sheila decided to step out and pursue her dream to own a Full Service Beauty Salon. Sheila and Elmont’s humble beginnings started with three dedicated stylists and grew to twelve stylist and two nail technicians. In 2002, A Touch of Elegance expanded to an available space next door and added a barber shop. The establishment continued to grow into the successful Full service Beauty and Barber Shop that it is today. Our most recent venture includes career development for the new stylist at our Professional Stylist Career Development Program (PSP).
